Nomi, Kindroid and Talkie compared
Nomi
Nomi presents its characters as companions with memory and emotional intelligence, and runs on the web and in apps for iOS and Android.
According to its App Store listing, the Standard plan is $15.99 a month or $99.99 a year, and the simpler Launch plan is $9.99 a month or $59.99 a year. A free tier exists too: the company's refund policy says that on the free plan one-to-one chat remains available while paid features become read-only.
Voice is for subscribers: voice messages and real-time conversations are both advertised. Memory is described as short, medium and long term, and one of the company's updates says a Nomi now remembers what happened more than a thousand messages ago far more clearly. Its terms state that people under 18 cannot use the platform.
Kindroid
Kindroid calls itself a personal AI companion that listens, remembers and grows with you. The app runs on iPhone, on Macs with Apple silicon and on Apple Vision.
Its site advertises text messaging, voice calls and live video calls, and the App Store listing adds generated avatar images. By that listing the subscription is $15.99 a month, $42.99 for three months or $159.99 a year, with more expensive add-on tiers above it. The company also states a privacy-by-default position: data encrypted, no data sold.
Talkie
Talkie is a free-to-download app with purchases inside, including an in-app currency and a paid subscription. Its store listing names 18 interface languages, Russian among them.
The service's own website is built so that its content is only visible in a browser, so the details above come from the store listing.

| Kindroid | iOS, Mac, Apple Vision | Voice and video calls, avatars | From $15.99 a month |

| Companion AI | Inside Telegram, on any device | Voice replies, and it understands your voice messages | One-off message packs, no subscription |
What this means in practice
Each of the three is strong at something: Kindroid at video calls and avatars, Nomi at memory and voice cloning, Talkie at letting you start without paying. What they share is the cost of entry: another app, another account, and a subscription that renews by itself.
A companion inside a messenger does not compete on avatars. It competes on how little stands between you and the conversation.
The Telegram alternative
@CompanionVoiceBot needs no install: the bot opens in Telegram on any device, with no separate account. The character replies with text or a voice message, understands your voice messages, and answers in the language you use.
Payment is one-off packs of messages with no subscription; Telegram Stars work anywhere. The first messages are free. History and memory are stored encrypted, erased on your command, and deleted after 90 days without messages.
